  1. I have the same, occasionally. I've put it down to a very sensitive weighting detection on the back seat, but since it is not always possible to read the dash from outside of the car in certain conditions - or it disappears before I can read it - it is very hard to determine. I guess I am also stumped, but train myself to walk away when it happens. Not easy!
  2. Admire your persistence. And it paid off - but it’s so tiresome. I did the same concerning key fob window opening and got there in the end!
  3. The temperature’s rising, it’s nothing surprising….. 48.9/44.7 …we’re having a heat wave. You’re all tracking, right? It’s called physics.

  5. 48.6/43.7 Like some others, on the slight rise again, proportionate with temperatures. No complaints to be following suit.
  6. Great report. Thanks! You appear to have had a great deal and an informed approach to your purchase. Wonderful for managing expectations. This forum is amazing. Congratulations and enjoy this great car!
  7. Actually I do know why. The logic is a little off and, as a linguist, the near perfect English is faultless, but comes from another way of thinking. I prefer to use the pdf and search for things I need that works best for me. But yes, RTFM! 🤣
  8. Agreed! There is a different logic at work!
  9. Right. That was my experience, so good to know it’s official. Manual is always my very last resort - don’t know why! Thanks!
  10. Wow 🤩 indeed! How remarkably inconsistent this process is. And my dealer says “Lexus don’t supply locking wheel bolts for the NX any more”. Nor do they acknowledge or recognise this forum - unlike me, where I have picked up so much information I would never otherwise had. Enjoy your surprise! And kudos to your dealer.
  11. I would not be confident about anything regarding 2nd keys until you get an appointment to collect it. You may be fortunate and all will go smoothly, but I would not assume anything. Be politely proactive and don’t be put off, would be my advice.
  12. +1 for info. Picked up 1 June 23, key issued and programmed 21 Dec 23
  13. That may be the case. All I can say is the dealer would not recognise the bulletin number quoted on this forum, to my surprise. He would not budge until finally Lexus UK authorised for payment. One would imagine that this should be or have been a recall, given the numbers on this forum alone. Either way, I’m glad that things are moving forward, albeit not fast enough for this guy, this winter!
  14. Called my dealer again today. Proactive is the only way that works for me and my dealer. Problem acknowledged at last and he advises “parts will be here in March”! Just in time for Spring. I booked in for 21 March. The end is hopefully in sight. lets see…
  15. The light has dawned! Thanks for your comment. Much appreciated.
  16. Thanks Colin, really useful. That makes total sense and I will include this actual in future reports. I noticed that my m/kWh figure doesn’t appear to move a great deal, though has moved from a maximum of 3.2 downwards. At new in June it built up gradually from 2.7 over the rest of summer to a 3.2 max before starting to decrease at autumn/winter onset. I’ll pay more attention to this going forward. Thanks again. John.
  17. 47.8/43.1 Decrease marginal. What’s the best way to measure actual? Just set one of the trips? Even in EV mode the ICE cuts in early on for a bit sometimes, I’m guessing until things warm up. Is there a more accurate way to measure actual?
  18. My message just disappeared. I don’t recall having to do anything since it’s just an informative message and should not require intervention. others may add to this.. oh, and congratulations btw!!
  19. The ups and downs of delivering a finished product, I well know. In the end, after my 2nd key and no nuts (!) I turned philosophical and refused to allow this to further mar the joy of a great car. That is, once I get my freezing door handles replaced!
  20. Turned freezing again. Last night’s charge 48.1 up from 47.7 43.3 down from 44.4 go figure!
