Try and avoid using underseal as it can prove a haven for water being trapped between it and the steel hiding corrosion until it’s too late Clean and treat affected areas using a rust eater/converter and then use a decent underbody wax ( waxoyl or similar ) and totally cover the underside of the car , you can do cavities as well if you do wish photos are of a 25yr old corolla G6 I’m currently restoring .Car was bottomed and treated, removable chassis crossmembers powder coated , rest of underside and wheel arches primed up using etch primer /paint/lacquer , last job is to apply a coat of wax as it self repairs Bilt Hamber do a decent kit , Lanoguard also do one .

Hi , if anyone has a non working is200 radio /cd changer(slot at the top) laid about , I would be interested in purchasing it for a nominal sum or happy to pay postage. I would like to get my hands on one ( preferably unopened ) just to see what the issues are internally and see if I can resolve them as it would save me pulling the car one out to do the same . thanks

Thanks , I was looking for the aero kitted car with black leather trim , preferably a manual if poss , but sometimes your choices are limited so this is auto with black leather and sat nav , most of the manual cars seem to have migrated to Ireland /Northern Ireland 😂

Hi , have a few Toyotas Corollas including a 1.3 and 1.6 G6 but had my eye open for an is200 for a while This came across my path and went down to give it a once over after reading all the buying guides First owner was a Gp and then an oldish guy had it , it’s test history looked decent and a full service history It has the normal cd player issue and a few paintwork marks but after a test drive overall I liked it and did the deal I really like the look of the car and will slowly work my way through it and get it back up to my standard Just placed a wanted on here for a sport rear spoiler and the silver sport type sill scuff plates and auto pedal set

Hi ,my first post is a wanted 😂I have just purchased a silver with black leather auto is200 aero , not keen on the small rear lip spoiler so looking for a standard sport rear boot spoiler with brake light wiring in decent condition, and also the the silver side sill scuff plates and auto pedals/heel rest .. These would need posting as up in North East England but dependent on how far away you are I could collect thanks 🙏

Thank you for all the helpful hints regarding buying an is200 they are very much appreciated I bought an 03 is200 se aero 91k FSH 👍🏻 i will be looking to add some is200 sport upgrades inc the silver pedal and footrest pads and the sill scuff trims ,and a sport rear spoiler
