  1. Just logged on for the first time in ages, to see if I’m alone in having problems after the latest software update…and clearly I’m not! Most of my issues seem to be quite common :- Journeys not being tracked, constantly having to accept terms and conditions, no traffic information flows etc. I took the same action as @Harrier Man and reset everything I could find…personal info, restore factory settings, deleted LL+ app, and then reinstalled. Having just spent 30+ minutes in the car (READY MODE ON), I have just about managed to get things back to normal. Having been out a couple of times, the traffic flow is working, and I’m not being asked to accept terms and conditions every time.🤞this has worked. Journeys are still not being recorded though…that I can live with until the car goes in for a service shortly. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) clearly has not been undertaken, before this update was implemented which is very disappointing. I’m a relatively young Lexus owner, so can brave most of this stuff out for myself. Lord help the typical demographic, they must be quite disappointed and frustrated.
  2. Happened to me once after 7000miles of ownership…all down to me sitting in the car doing stuff, when the car was NOT in READY MODE. Not happened since, but I do now carry a NOCO GB charger just in case I slip up. Fortunately, I had watched a guy have the same issue in his Taycan, and he didn’t know how to get out of the vehicle (he got really panicky). Double pull on the door handle folks😉
  3. Using E5 fuel, I’m averaging 45.1mpg over the last three months. Mostly long journeys, with half being on motorways. On a long trip to Norfolk (from Sheffield) I did get 51mpg (no motorways). I will use a few more tanks of E5, then will see what difference using E10 makes on similar journeys… (20 inch run flats)
  4. Aviva for me too..I have an old RAV4 XT3, and my NX350H prem+,insured for less than £475p.a. I would NEVER use Hastings….been there, done that…NEVER again! Pay peanuts, get monkeys 🙉.
  5. Update to the above:- Called in at my Lexus dealer today for them to have a look at the car, and am really impressed with their approach. After a brief drive out (when the rattle performed perfectly with a mechanic in the car), the car went into the service garage for half an hour. It soon materialised with the latch now secure, and some foam insulation applied inside the B pillar. So far…NO MORE RATTLE ..hallelujah👍 Conclusion…it was either the loose latch cover or a loose clip inside the B pillar ..either way I’m just glad it got resolved so quickly.
  6. Hi One month into ownership, and my only real issue has been an annoying rattle coming from the drivers side seatbelt housing. As soon as the car is moving on an uneven surface it starts. Having read of a similar issue on an RX350, I did a bit of research, and found the offending part! The black plastic latch cover is not seated properly, and is moving about. I have taped this down, given the metal catch a couple of shots of electrical tape, and now the problem has gone away (just done a 10mile test drive). Will drop it into my dealer when time allows for a more permanent solution, but hope this might help a few people…It’s probably not an isolated incident!
  7. I have the exact same problem on my newly acquired NX350H..a rattle coming from the B pillar area, around the seatbelt housing. After 10mins research on this forum, I found the cause, and solution! In my case, it’s the door lock mechanism that is not a perfect fit. By applying electrical tape to the latch, the rattle has been eliminated…. The black plastic oval shaped bit of plastic is moving slightly. I have applied two turns of tape to the latch, and hey presto…10miles into the Peak District and not a murmur.
  8. Hi Having taken delivery of a beautiful NX350H a month ago, it’s been a world of discovery…most of it great..I love the car. BUT..the Lexus Link app seems to be an absolute water of money. So far the fuel gauge does not update, neither does the mileage…but the worst bit is the trip analytics…. I have not taken the car above 80mph at any time (and I’m the only driver), so how can the trip data show the following:- I have contacted Lexus assist on two occasions, emailed Lexus directly (a week ago), and have had ZERO replies from any of them. Have I been unlucky, or is Lexus customer service not what it used to be!
  9. Hi, no guarantees, as I’ve not had sufficient opportunities to test this out yet…but this is my attempt :- With the car running, I went into the settings menu, Driving Assist, Driver Support, and changed the Curve speed reduction from med to off. Underneath this same option it lists Lane Departure Alert System. I have changed the Alert Options from Vibrate to Beep. No guarantee that it has worked, but maybe worth a shot!
  10. Interesting thread for me to read. I ordered a Toyota RAV4 PHEV Dynamic Premium 14 months ago, and experienced the same delays to delivery date..Dealer communication was dreadful, and they did not notify me when the build was downgraded to a dynamic. Fortunately, the Toyota equivalent of this website was fantastic, and I got to know from other members. I took the difficult decision to cancel my order with Toyota, and bought a 1 year old, low mileage, NX350H instead (premium plus pack). Two weeks, and 450 miles later, I am glad I took this course of action..the car is great, and so far I am getting an indicative 46mpg average. Only one slight niggle so far is a slight intermittent creaking noise coming from the drivers door! Plus having to turn off the lane trace assist off every time I get in….although I think I have solved this today, by changing a notification setting from vibrate to beep..let’s hope that does the trick. My dealer did mention the delays for the Takumi packaged cars were ongoing.
