I know if your pride and joy disappears it's nothing but heart ache (especially if it's a Takumi) and agro. Access to CAN bus wiring allows a vehicle to be stolen. I also have a brief comment on the Ghost immobiliser thread. I understand a Ghost does not prevent CAN bus access typically under the front wing. This is my actual car.

I understand a Ghost may be defeated by connection under the front wing to the headlamp. I opted for a Startline Pro which although not Thatcham approved and not recognised yet by the insurance industry overcomes this problem. This is my car.

I just picked up my 2021 ES300h but after reading this thread I hung onto the spare wheel from my old GS300 as it was 18" the same as the ES. Turning the tool tray upside down I marked the out line on a piece of plywood I had left in the garage to cut the shape and added a couple of short battens on either side to prevent the whole thing dropping too low. A bit of sanding to shape the battens and make it fit flush and here it is. Just need to buy a can of matt black, give it a coat or two and it will be done. I just put all of the items from the tray loose in with the spare wheel with the jack across the center. .

I am saying goodbye to my Phase 3 GS300 and have a Lexus wiring manual (its about 300 pages) some front discs and service filters. The manual also covers the GS430 but not the 450h. I don't want them to disappear with the car so I'm happy to donate these to a new owner if they are happy to make a donation to McMillan Nurses and collect them from EN4 9TP (close to M25 J24).
