  1. It's a shame that one of the dealers in the UK doesn't take a leaf out of the Lexus US dealer that makes these videos. I appreciate that they are a lot of work (as someone that makes/edits videos myself), but if I were them I'd look at forums like this, see what questions were being asked and make generic videos that answer them. They wouldn't probably even need to post them here, as no doubt the (very kind) members of these forums would find them and paste links here. I'm still waiting for my UX - current date is mid-December, otherwise I would probably have made a video (if I had the answer, of course!).
  2. 1 h 32 mins in. Screenshot shows a scrollable list of more than six favourites. This is, of course, a US vehicle, as it includes Sirius radio rather than DAB. It doesn't make any mention of a limit. I don't yet have my UX, so cannot test and confirm. Can anyone else?
  3. Just as a side note, I prefer to use Waze over either Apple/Google maps or any in-built satnav. You can save journey, either from the phone or even from a PC. With Apple Carplay/Android Auto they'll then appear when you set off. Unfortunately, I've never seen an in-built satnav that is better than one of the main online systems. Now that both Apple and Google Maps support offline maps, this at least allows you to use them, even in poor data areas.
  4. Excellent. Thanks for taking the time to provide such a detailed response.
  5. (Sonic) Grey with white? That's what I'm going for! (They better not have cancelled my order 😁)
  6. Aaaahhhh, I forgot about their different gallons. Doh! Just out of interest, why does the MPG improve after a couple of thousand miles. Is it literally that the car is 'broken in', so parts within the engine move with slightly less friction? Or is it that the car gets better at estimating it over time? (As you can probably tell, I'm no mechanic!) Also, are you saying that the engine will run quieter with the Premium fuel as opposed to the standard stuff? Why is that? I also understand that you are supposed to get better fuel economy from the premium fuel - has anyone ever done a study to see whether the savings outweigh the additional cost of the fuel? Would be great to see a UX getting 70MPG with a 'loose' engine and better fuel 😃
  7. Where can I find Melissa's tutorial? I'll be happy to report back myself (with a video of it in operation), but you'll have to wait until Nov/Dec when my car actually arrives! 😄.
  8. I thought as much. I did see another thread on this forum for a 2019 UX that suggested there may be a setting within the Lexus settings to choose navigation, but there was still some ambiguity in the post as to whether it did work or not.
  9. Am waiting to receive my UX and am wondering if I use Waze via Apple CarPlay, will it display the turn by turn navigation on the Heads Up Display?
  10. Interesting! I agree that you don't want to drive like a nun on prozac just to get 5MPG better performance. 49.9MPG is pretty damn good, though! I'm comparing this to my outgoing car - a 2015 Jaguar XE, which I've managed to achieve 50+MPG on several occasions, but generally still get 40-45MPG. Can anyone share their experiences of overall range on a full tank? I can get just under 500 miles out of the XE, so will be interested to see what the range is in a smaller tank but better fuel economy.
  11. Hi all, Am new to the world of Lexus, having ordered my first one, a UX 250H a couple of weeks ago. Won't get it until December-time, unfortunately. I see a lot of conflicting statement around MPG for the 250H, with some people saying they have seen 60+MPG. Even the Lexus website is confusing, as it says up to 50.1MPG, but a lot of the reviews online suggest it's listed at closer to 40MPG? I'd be interested to hear what the general concensus is. Also, what about range (on a full tank of fuel, throwing electric into the mix). How much range do you see on average? Thanks!
