  1. Lexus replaced all four trailing arms on my Gen IV before selling it to me. Their internal invoice priced the job at £2400.
  2. It exactly matches the feel/sound of engine when accelerating from slow speeds and pulling off. I haven't got a clue what it could be. I don't know what it could be. I'm going to get the wheels balanced and a four wheel alignment to see if that makes any difference.
  3. As I accelerate from slow speeds the vibration matches the sound I can hear. The engine noise in my RX is louder in the cabin than I expected.
  4. To feel vibration in the steering wheel from the engine?
  5. I've been a bit surprised by how noisy the engine can be. Under acceleration it sounds quite growly. I'm used to cvt gears so I know it's not that sound. Even my wife commented on it being louder than expected. This is just from cold, so will be noisier anyway. I'll have to get a recording of it under acceleration. VID_20240207_104207.mp4
  6. Wow! My local guy would clean and regrease as a matter of course when doing a brake service on my cars.
  7. I'll get onto the dealers today. If they did the sliders when they checked / serviced the brakes then why would it be causing a problem so soon? Rather than start a new thread, can someone tell me or point me in the way of how to change the unlock feature on the remote from open the driver door to open all doors?
  8. Main dealers, when I bought the car in December. The thing is, that soon after I bought the car I was looking through all the service print outs and noticed that the service they did just before I bought the car said there was very uneven wear between the two rear sets of pads. 2mm/7mm iirc. They only replaced the discs and pads. The service sheet stated possible caliper fault, but they didn't replace it. I contacted their service department and they said that 'calipers were within tolerance.' I'm just being very aware, that the further it gets from me having purchased the car, the harder it'll be to get them to replace it if it is faulty.
  9. Brand new discs and pads put on in October. One is doing a full, even sweep of the disc, but the other seems to be applying more pressure and only to the main central part of the disc. The shiny disc was slightly warm after driving for a few miles, while the other was cold. Everyone think the caliper is f#[]#[[?
  10. The windscreen is supposed to be heated isn't it? It's the Premier model, so has almost everything.
  11. It's loud even on the lowest setting, like you'd expect if it was on the highest. The cabin takes longer to warm up than I expected.
