This kind of attack is done on all cars and not only on Lexus. If you change car you’ll have the same problem once the thieves will found the sweet spot to attack can bus, for example in Land Rovers is usually in the tailgate.. there are many videos on YouTube

I’ve the same exact problem / noise, where is this striker located? Sorry but I’m not native English speaker and my local dealership proposed to change the entire pneumatic arms of the tailgate to solve the noise issue but by reading this post I believe we can solve it out easily. Guys, I checked the residual capacity of my hybrid battery via OBD port and it’s 57%. The warranty program says a traction battery with residual capacity below 66% must be replaced with a newer one or a reconditioned battery. I showed it to my local dealership and they said Lexus has not an instrument to check and determine the residual battery capacity.. That is stunning in my opinion, has anyone successfully replaced the battery under warranty? Thanks!

Hello everyone! I have just bought my first Lexus (certified by Lexus), a 2018 NX 300h (after the restyling), I am very satisfied! However, I have noticed the presence of some noises coming from the back of the car during low speed manoeuvres (say 0-45km/h). I thought about a suspension problem or the rear electric motor but quickly realised that this was not the case. We looked at the boot and removed all components that could move including panels and tools, and lubricated the pneumatic arms in the bonnet, but the noise persists. Has anyone ever experienced this? I read on other forums about a guy who had this problem and in his case it was a sunroof component moving slightly producing the sound. Let me know, thank you!
