    A couple of things I have been told by insurance companies this week - LV only add to/update their database every 6 weeks. Admiral aren't insuring the Original Edition as 'parts are both expensive and hard to come by'

    Lexus insurance despite quoting me £430 can't now insure me ATM (it's with their underwriters). I've just spent an hour on the phone to NFU with no end result because it's not a premium plus I'm insuring...it's now with their underwriters. For reference I'm 52, full no claims, clean licence etc etc trying to insure an original edition.

    I went online direct to Admiral and couldn't get a quote. Compare the market gave no quotes from any insurers.

    I have just tried all the major insurance comparison sites, plus a few companies that don't appear on these sites, and didn't get a single quote!

    My quote from Lexus for an Original Edition came out as roughly the same as I'm currently paying for my UX F Sport Design with LV insurance.

    Try Lexus insurance. I got a good price quote earlier today.

    I have managed to get a quote for my LBX from Lexus insurance online. Good price too!

    I have been told for a couple of months that mine will arrive at the dealership on 7th March. Now been informed it may be a 'couple of days' late. Of course this won't make any difference unless the insurance debacle is sorted before then.
