  13. So sorry dude I’ve been out practising my gangsta lean B) I’ve only got a month to get it nailed before the armrest arrives I do appreciate your kind words of advice and encouragement tho. Thanks I owe you one
  14. Nice one Mr Singh much appreciated :D Money sent. If its not been posted already here's a link to a walkthrough. Its for the IS300 but should be very similar. Is there a better guide anywhere?
  15. That would be great. Any chance Mr Singh?
  16. OH NO I can not believe I missed this what a f%&kwit. The lack of arm rest was the one thing that almost put me off buying the lex. Oh well If anyone has second thoughts about fitting there's then let me know and I will have cash waiting :winky: Billsy
  17. Did the guys at Performance Heaven do any alignment checks afterwards?
  18. Nice one. That looks a bit easier. Is it worth putting a diode on the feed from the fog switch?
  19. Sorry forgot to mention I'm using the OEM HU so no sub-out as far as I know. Its the mini disk 2002 version. Also I can't see an amp behind the glove box
  20. I recently purchased a Vibe CBR12 active subwoofer off ebay. It doesn’t however have high-level inputs (Vibe website says it does! :tsktsk: ). I got a line converter from Halfords :yack: , but what I want to know is do I connect it to the front or rear speakers of the car? Am I right in thinking the rear audio channel impedance won’t be compatible with the sub amp? Any comments welcome Billsy
  21. Thanks Neil. It's starting to look a bit beyond my ability now tho How long do you think it will take a qualified auto spark to do the job?
  22. Neil that is awesome. After reading it a few times and looking at a couple of electronics web sites, it actually makes sense to me :P One of the sites mentions the need for a “protection diode” “to protect components from the brief high voltage 'spike' produced when the relay coil is switched off”. Is that needed? or is it intended for PCB components? I look forward to your diagram. Cheers
  23. Good man Neil :) Yeh was hoping to use the same bulbs. Will Maplin sell the relay?
  24. Oh right thanks Neil its easy then :duh: not! Sounds like a job for my local auto electrition. Unless you can post some very easy to follow instructions. Billsy
  25. Thanks Fluff but I want to keep them as brake lights when the fogs are switched off so I probably need a relay or something right? Thanks for the search Shahz but I can only see posts on the fog light to brake light mod and I want to do the opposite but keep the 5 brake lights when the fogs are off Am I making sense guys? I really don't want to nail a fog light to the bumper so please help Cheers
