  1. Nope tractional control was on!!! Wasn't driving like a tw@t either or anything like The drivers rear was flat when I got it out of the fence so not sure if that was what caused it???? Police went past but was a woman on her own and I had no plates on so hopefully should be ok
  2. Lol I live near hindley about 5 mins from wigan In between Wigan and Leigh
  3. Lost the back end travelling not that fast (although apparently not) Mounted the kerb and ran over 3 fence posts The front bumper is a little pushed in in the middle and I cant open the bonnet although there is no visible damage. I think the bumper has pushed up inside somewhere to stop it opening. I can see through the grill that a metal plate under the radiator has been pushed up twoards the air con pipes and rad but no signs of any leaks Is this just a bolt on part or something more serious? Any advice would be very helpful So would a graphite front bumper
  4. Thanks Can you recommend any good part sites? Similar to GSF for lexus stuff?
  5. Has anyone any idea how much the dark rear lights are and what the part no's are? Thanks
  6. Hmmm think I missed a few options Why can you never catch the swines doing it?
  7. Why do people park so close? :tsktsk: Why can't they be careful when they open the door? :tsktsk: Why do they when there are no markings on a car park block people in? :tsktsk: I going down the BMW route of taking up 2 spaces!! Costco must have the best parking spaces ever nice and roomy with plenty of lines!! :D
  8. I've been with Flux a couple of times not bad quotes just don't try and move your policy or they will screw you royally with charges. My mate also had a hard time getting them to insure him on a hire car (which they were not even paying for) Me (25) and the Mrs (23) are with Priviledge for £420 on a 2001 IS200, Flux wanted an extra £150 on top of the modded Saxo VTS I was paying £500 for :tsktsk:
  9. Doh! Sorry should search more clearly
  10. I might be able to get a Sat Nav System from a 53 - 2003 IS 200 Sport How easy to install is it or is it too big a job??? Mine is a 2001 IS200 SE
  11. Thanks for that slam! I'll try and find out what colour it is when I get it :)
  12. Knowing my luck you are gonna says its not beige though!
  13. Can you get parts like that quite easily? Do you have to go through Lexus
  14. I am picking up an 2001 IS200 SE tonight The only thing wrong is a couple of burns in the A pillar What would be best a new one, if so where is best to get it from and ££?? Or use one the cig burn fixing men?
  15. I'm not sure yet probably up to about £8500
  16. I am looking to get an IS200 I could do with a few pointers as what to look for It will more than likely be an ex-fleet car from the auctions with all lexus stamps in the book What I want to know is what goes wrong and when? clutch? timing belt? annoying expensive stuff? I know they are a good car but stuff wears out no matter what :) Also what is the on the road performance like 50-70 and what is 0-100 like I am upgrading from a Saxo VTS and the mrs has a 306 GTI-6 I know the IS won't be as fast as these from a start but I expect the IS to have a little bit of grunt once it gets going. I know its not all about speed, so I have decided that it is time to get something more comfortable and refined I have test drove one at the dealer and I liked it but I didnt want to thrash it
