Damian, thanks for the info. It looks like that I will go for the SE + NAV. I test drove the Se and Se-L this weekend and honestly I could not tell the difference. Both rides where as smooth as each other.

Thanks for your replies. A quick question on Bluetooth kit. In the borchure it says that both Sat NAV and Bluetooth kits are optional on the SE. Are these seperate items to add or is the Bluetooth kit included in the SAT NAV?

Hi All, I need some advice. I am deciding between SE with Nav and SE-L. It's a 3K+ difference. As far as I can understand the main difference with the latest 2005 spec is the air suspension. Your advice would appreciated. Thanks, Sami

I contacted Lexus GB today and it seems that the color coded roof spoiler is not standard. They sent me a list of all the updates in the latest RX300 spec: - RX300 now includes rain sensitive windscreen wipers (previously only standard on the SE and SE-L) - RX300 SE now includes the Adaptive Front-Lighting System (AFS) (previously only standard on the SE-L) - The Satellite Navigation system (optional on SE and standard on SE-L) has been upgraded to include: - Electronic Traffic Avoidance - Voice recognition of commands - Facilitation of handsfree use of compatible Bluetooth mobile phone - Steering wheel mounted switches for voice recognition and mobile phone use

Hi Sanpee, Congrats on your order! I am ordering a Black one shortly too (with Black Leather), I was debating on getting a Silver one but I just could not resist. ColinBarber, you mention that quality cleaning products should be used, could you please explain further? I usually get my car cleaned at a local hand car wash place which use powerjet hoses but I am unaware of what the exact cleaning products they use are. Any tips? Also, with regards to paint protectors, should this be ordered at the dealer's? Do they usually supply is with protectors applied? And are protectors recommended to be added at each service? Wow, so I was not dreaming! Does anyone have any pictures of a Silver RX300 with colour coded roof spoiler? Have any other parts been colour-coded?

I have made up my mind today on the color of my new RX300 when I saw it in black in person for the first time. I know that it will mean more maintainance but it is too sexy to resist! I saw something unusual though.... it looked like the roof spoiler was colour-coded. It appeared exactly the same finish as the rest of the body work. Is the colour-coded roof spoiler for real? Is the RX400 meant as a replacement for the RX300? Is the RX400 a better car than the RX300? Does it have any updates on the looks of the car? Finally, will the release of the RX400 have a major impact on the resell price of the RX300? 7/ Does the RX300 SE-L have any bluetooth car-kit? Is it an option or it is standard? If there is, do any of you have any good/bad experiences with it? Hi, I have been evaluating several SUVs: RX300 SE-L, X5 4.4, Toureg V6, Volvo CX90 V6, Cayenne, Jeep Grand Cherokee and made up my mind on the RX300 SE-L after reading so many good reviews and seeing the so many positive postings on this forum! Before I order, I have a couple of questions for the experts: 1/ Colors. I am considering the following combinations Platinum Ice/Oakham, Platinum Ice/Pembroke or Astral Black/Pembroke. Any tips? They all look great, difficult to choose. 2/ ICE. I am considering getting the ICE entertainment system. Is it recommended? Does it have any known issues? Do many of you find regular use for it? 3/ Accessories. Are there any other additional accessories worth considering? 4/ Price. What kind of discounts (if any) can I bargain for? 5/ New models.
