I have discovered a button under the dash to the right of the steering wheel below where the coin holder/wing mirror joystick is. The button has two positions ie in and out . anyone know what this is for? -
Just got a 99 LS400 and it has a cellular phone in the centre armrest. Anyone know how I get it working? what sort of sim card does it take? Mr 'orange' sim card seems to small?

wha hey! got my first LS400 today. 1999 T plate 87k on clock, up for 10k got it for 9.6k drove it from Brighton to Nottingham , its a dream, everything everyone on the LOC forums said it would be. Stuck it on cruise all the way home at 60mph (yeah, boring I know!) and got 35.8mpg!!!! that might be some sort of redcord, I've had a couple of glasses of wine but I am SO thrilled with it, i cannot tell you!!!!!! gonna post some photos soon......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can anyone explain to me whats included in the 'Handling pack' on a 1999 LS400 I'm thinking of buying? thanks in advance.

Any body know whether the badges on the boot of a 1998 ls400 are simply stuck on or are there holes where they fix into? Also, is there a cheaper place to buy replacement badges other than a main dealer who want to charge about 40 quid for 'Lexus' , the slopy 'L' logo , 'LS' and then '400' !!!

I'm collecting my first LS400 on saturday. Lovely car spoiled only by the ridiculously small alloy rims! (why do limo manufacturers do this? Ive seen loads of huge mercs with tiny rims also) Any way, I want to get some 18 inch rims and wondered if anyone could recommend any that would suit the car? cheers

I'm close to buying a 1998 LS400 which has 170k on it. Its being sold thru a Lexus dealer and Ive got them down to £8k. Are the miles an issue or do these engines 'go on forever' ?
