I had exactly the same on my sportcross 300, phoned the dealer (Lexus Cambridge), brought it in the next day and they reprogrammed the ECU, been fine ever since. Regards Jim :)

My sportcross gives 25-26mpg on normal runs, 28mpg on long runs, I tend not to hang about though.
