Just wondering if anyone can recommend a good bodyshop or someone who specialises in this kinda work ie fitting of kit parts etc Anywhere from Dagenham or surrounding areas to central London and surrounding areas! Wide area there so someone should know of one!? Thanx!

I'll second that comment, it is very easy to start spending money on making the Lex more unique! I've already started even tho i vowed not to fall into the trap wen i first bought it, but i suppose i hav always been bitten by the mod-bug ever since my first car (ahem) F reg 4 door Escort Ghia! Lol! But along the years the mods have got more tasteful (thank ***) lost the go faster stripes and 14" hubcaps and bin liner tints! Lol! I bought the Lex thinking it looked good as standard but then i got on here and seen what great cars you all have i didn't even realise there was such an aftermarket for the IS! Mr Singh...I'm LOVIN' your motor, do you wanna swap and start again on a standard Lex! Lol! Where did you get your HIDs and rims from?? £££? I think i will go for a look somewhere in between subtle and extreme. Anyway i'm sure what ever it i want i will find from someone on here!! Rich!

Yeah i just realised that, see told ya i'm gettin confused!! The Don says TEIN do coilover kits for 650ish thats where the confusion came from (gotta blame someone!)

Ok that sounds good, i've seen them on ProLex for £880 where have you seen them for £650ish, i would want the ones with adjustable damping. I think i am gonna go for the TEIN set up, so the max drop on these is 80mm right?

Btw, whats the maximum drop you can have with the TTE coilovers and the others?

I have had a look around the site, thanx thats helped. With regards to the budget kit you mention, when you say budget what quaility would it be in comparason to others that you mention i.e. the knocking noise etc. Ta again

I'm after a set of new discs front and back with pads and was thinking Brembo? As for coilovers i don't want to spend loads (who does!) but i want a good kit for good money so again recommendations? Hey Scorcher, Nice little shop you got there on e-bay, i have bid for a few things but haven't successful with those last second bidders The person currently bidding for the black lights seems nothing is gonna stop him having them, i would love a set of these but at the mo i'm a bit of a poorper but hopefully you will source some more in the near future?

Ok, 2 things i hope you guys can help me with... ... since i bought my IS back in May the front fog lights have not worked at all even though i've checked all the obvious, there is a visible condensation problem in both lamps so i'm guessing this is the problem, where can i source some fogs at a good price from? Also i'm looking for the original spec front lower spoiler, i know Lexus do them but i'm guessing it will be £££s from them, so those in the know might let me know where i can pick one up from at a good price and where to find such parts... Thanx in advance...

Small worls a, i did actually bid for them but gettin up into the 2s is a little out my prich range at the mo for lights, seems its the last set too so no joy with them for me...anyone got pics of em on the car? The ST wasn't grwat on the performance side to be honest and i much prefere the luxury and silkyness of the Lexus, my ST was stolen in March so decided to go this route. I live near the Heathway in Dagenham, anyone nearby? y

Hello everybody, i'm new this forum so just wanted to say hello to you all, had my Lex since May and did try to register once before but had problems so gave up, anyway i'm in now so its all good.... Its my first kinda prestige motor, coming from an ST170 ...would i go back?? ....NOOOOO!! Anyway that will do for my first post, would just like to say you all seem like a friendly bunch with some nice motors!
