  1. Hi folks, I'm looking to tap into the anti glare rear-view mirror on my IS200 (Toyota 5 pin connector), but when ordering from dongar they eventually cancelled the order and refunded because they're unsure on the wiring. Looking at it, we've got a black, red, brown and white/black cable. The easiest guess is red = postive, black = negative, but is there any actual wiring diagram out there or something I can point dongar at to say "This is what it needs to be?" Though if there's any UK based services that offer the same adapters I'd happily go there instead to save US shipping cost Cheers
  2. Over the last few days my wipers have been failing to work on an intermittent basis. If the car goes over a bump then they come back on, once they are moving they only stop when you switch them off. When you go to switch them back on again and sometimes they work and many times they don't......until you hit a bump/catseye/pothole. So pulled the scuttle panel ff today and did some digging, have a look at the video, when you flex the wiring the motor almost stalls. When Im doing this I am not moving the motor or linkage, there's no obstructions at all. Ive checked the multiplug and can't see any corrosion, all the wires look to be in good condition. What would cause this to happen? When the wipers fail to work if I move the wiring at that point they spring back into life, my only conclusion would be the wiring is breaking down. any other opinions? IMG_2250.MOV
  3. I have purchased a lovely 2011 CT200h yes it has got some, ok maybe a lot of history (not in a good way) but i love the car and in a great drive especially in London UK. It was previously a CAT D/Accident Damage and has had front end damage. The problem is that the car should have Xenon/LED headlight and the cowboys who repaired it have put Halogen headlights guessing due to the cost (all this was done before i purchased the car). I have gone through all the wiring and now all the lights including DRL's work correctly as per the Lexus Workshop Manual. This is now were the problem lies, i have always had a CHECK HEADLIGHT SYSTEM warning on the dashboard when the low beam comes on looking at the wiring diagram the halogen low beam has just two wires + and - where as Xenon/LED low beam has three wires + and - plus a BLACK wire from the MAIN BODY ECU (which is currently not connected to anything) which i am guessing is to do with the canbus system?! If this is the case does anyone know what signal the BLACK wire is expecting to send back to the MAIN BODY ECU. If i put a voltage meter on it i have 12v coming down the BLACK wire, i have tried linking it in with the + wire for the low beam to see if that work but to no avail. HELP please i just want to get the message off the dash. Thanks in advance. Roy
  4. I have the nextbase dashcam hardwire kit and have plugged my fuse replacement holder into multiple fuse positions in the passenger footwell fuse box but I’m gettting a permanent live feed whichever I plug it into even with the ignition off. Obviously I don’t wanna drain the battery but can’t find one that seems to only come on with the ignition. Tried so many and getting frustrated now How or what do I do please?
  5. Hi, new to forum, there may be an already existing thread but I cannot find anything......ANYWHERE! I need an ecu pinout for a 2001 is200 using a 1gfe with an ecu number 89661-53200. I need this pinout diagram and expertese to fit a bee*r limiter basically because I want one and I like being a loon in my car. There are people who hate/disagree with them, however I would like one in my car and I would appreciate help fitting it. any help appreciated.
  6. hi, I've been trying to find this on a wiring diagram but haven't had any luck, I need to work out which wires do what that go into the drivers door window control switch? I also need to work out a way have the rear windows work off the drivers switches when the rear switches aren't connected. I'm assuming there is some sort of circuit that needs to be completed by the individual door controls to work.??? basically I'm stripping the car to take it racing and do events etc so I need to get rid of the door trims but still want to be able to control the windows so ill put some different switches in the centre consol. any help would be great.
  7. HELP !!! Somebody can help me ? I need the stereo wiring diagram from my 2008 Lexus RX 350. If somebody knows where can I find it or may be send me by mail to jbenedykt@hotmail.com Thank to everybody.

  9. I have been searching everywhere to find some information about wiring these Lexus IS300 seats. I am putting them into an older vehicle and will have to be creating the wiring from scratch. I have no need for the seat belt sensor, seat air bags, or the memory functions. There are 10 wires on one harness and 2 wires on another harness leaving the drivers seat that go to the car. so far I have identified that the two wires on the second harness (yellow-red, yellow-grn) are for the airbags. The 10 wires coming out of the other harness include a larger white-black and larger blue-white wire, and smaller brown, black-red, black-blue, white-green, blue-yellow, blue-orange, white-red, black-yellow wires. The black-yellow appears to be the wire going to the seat heater buttons. Does anyone have any clue how I could wire these to get the seat power working??
  10. Hi I recently brought a 99 is200 , the car is great but I have a problem with the stereo wiring, The stereo/disc changer that was in the car did not work so I brought a replacement , should have been a straight forward switch over but when I went to do this I noticed that the plugs have been cut off at some point and then reattached but obviously not correctly as stereo not working when connected, all I need to do is reconnect the wires but I dont know which ones go to which so if anyone can upload a detailed photo or something similar so I can see what I need to do it would be massively appreciated !
  11. hi there, does anyone have a stereo wiring diagram for a 2004 is200 se, i have removed the headunit and it only has 1 plug into the headunit as my older one had 2 plugs, I am trying to find out which wires is the canbus tx+ and tx- wiring, hope thats right its the wires that communicate with the other electronics in the car, on my older is200 it was the second plug with only 2 wires in it coloured pink with grey bits and a red with blue stripe but cant match these to any of the wires that plug into my newer spec headunit, I hope someone here can help as I really need to find them. any help much appriciated
  12. Please help!!! I have just bought my first Lexus (1999 IS200 sport). She is in mint condition, everything is wonderful, the only thing is the last owner changed the headunit for an aftermarket one, I bought the car with the original stereo fitted in place but not connected, "all you need to do is slide out the stereo and plug the multi plug in i think" I removed the stereo and to my horror discovered that the plug was butchered so close i cant easily see which wires goin which plug and and at what pin!!! Please can someone advise me where all the wires go in the plug and better still could someone with an identical car send me a picture of the fully wired plugs so that i can get out the soldering iron and fix it up, I have managed to connect it all to a fashion, radio and mirrors are working as is the illumination but, the CD player isnt and it would seem it is drain the battery like near is so tomorrow. Please please please help me.
