  1. I had Cross Climate SUV's all round. Protyre sourced a Cross Climate 2 in the correct size so all sorted. The tread has a slightly wider block separation, you have to take a closer look to see the difference.
  2. I had the cross climate SUV’s fitted late last year and have 4000 miles on them, minimal wear. Great tyre. Today I went out to the car and found a screw on the edge of the tread which is non repairable. There are no Cross Climate SUV tyres available now on any of the tyre company websites as this size is discontinued. 225/60 R18 I’ll call Protyre tomorrow to discuss my options but it looks like I’m screwed, pardon the pun and back to 4 new summer tyres at this point. Not happy this evening…..
  3. Hi Kevin, "i am thinking of fitting of fitting of fitting 225/65/18 tyres to improve the ride comfort and the harsh bumps,as the speedo is reading 6% out this will work without a big speed error and may increase mpg." I fitted Michelin Cross Climate SUV, these really do make a difference to quietness and bump absorption. I was quite sceptical of the reviews but the ride is certainly much better now. Tyre pressures also play a big part so I run the minimum 32psi all round (2.2Bar) for up to 99mph'ish as stated on the inside door label which seems soft when looking the tyres, but no issues...quite happy. We are looking at the new NX later this year, I will be straight down to Pro Tyre and have these fitted to replace the standard Yokohama's if/when we get one. I'm also interested in rear sound proofing info.
  4. All new cars could do with a USB port on the back of mirror and tailgate.
  5. Hello All, I found this site while researching the NX. We recently rejected a C Class estate and needed something quickly that we can get the dog into. Prior to this we had a Jaguar XF Sportbrake but ended up rejecting that too. My wife spoke with Leon at Lexus Hedge End as they had an almost new 16 plate Luxury Nav at a good price but it had been sold. Leon advised of two new ones in the showroom, we ended up purchasing one and collect it next Saturday. A bit of a trek for us but worth it. Luxury nav, with convenience and protection packs in ultra blue. Next step: detailing with crystal serum light topped with exo, C5 on the wheels, G1 on the glass, great combination. Hopefully third time lucky in this run of cars, we are sure we will not be disappointed. I will upgrade membership once we have it and all is okay. It was a pleasure doing business with Leon, thank you Leon. E & K.
  6. I found this site while researching the purchase of an NX. Pick up my new NX next week.
