Paint Chipped, Need Help Regarding Touching Up.

Recommended Posts

I have a Argento Ice Silver IS250, and strangely i found a chip around the bottom of the drivers door.

the paint is gone and i can see the boat below it and its the size of 1/2 tab of paracetamol.

there is no other mark nearby and it doesnt look like someone banged something against the door, so i am baffled.

but i want to sort this out, please help me out as to how to get it touched up as i dont want to leave it for long out of the fear if it expands in size.

Also, i have never touched up paint before so full details please.

thanks

Assuming you don't already have one, order the relevant touch up stick from your local dealer - about £10 if my memory serves me right.

They come with full (pictorial style) instructions which even I managed to figure out after a couple of minutes.
