Hi there

Names alex, just joined up, i don't techinally own a Lexus but i drive a Toyota Hilux Surf with V8 transplant from the LS400, so i kinda qualify

Ill be mainly looking for answers to technical questions like;

Why does the engine revs drop for a split second when i plant my foot from standstill?, Is my 1994 engine non interferance? How can i identify if im in limp mode? and where do babys come from?

If you can help at all that'll be great

Can't answer your first question - maybe the spirit of the donor car is protesting?

As far as I'm aware, a 1994 LS400 would be a late Mk.II and so non-interferance engine.

If you're in limp mode you'll never make a baby.

Hi Alex and welcome to the LOC, we are a friendly bunch and some of us even know how to pull them to bits and put them back together again, with of course the one bolt and washer left over.
