Installing Lights Under Dash...help! 92 Sc400

I am the proud owner of a black 1992 SC 400. It was passed down to me by my father, and the car has only 80K on it. Very good condition, but I'd like to spiff it up a bit.

On to the main problem. I have some blue lights that I'd like to install under the dash so as to illuminate the floor of the driver and passenger seats. Both lights run into a switch that runs off a 12V cigarette adapter. I COULD just plug the adapter into the cigarette lighter socket, but then it would look messy with all the unsightly wires. I would like to plug the switch directly into the power and hide the wires, bypassing the adapter altogether.

Does anyone familiar with auto-modding have any tips on how I could install both lights without any wires showing? The part I really dont understand is how I can hook it up without using the cigarette adapter. How do I access the car's internal wiring? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
