RX400H lost all drive. Won’t start

Good all now well.

It would appear that the leaky injector was allowing fuel to be drawn into the cylinder in an uncontrolled way and this in turn was getting unburnt past the piston rings thereby contaminating the engine oil.  (Some of the products of combustion get past the rings more so with old engines anyway and is a major reason why oil needs to be changed).  The oil can also be contaminated in situations where  the valve seals are deteriorating allowing the products of combustion to pass into oil passing through the cylinder head.  This is then returned to the sump from whence it is drawn up by pump on its circuit round the engine. Lubrication of crankshaft bearings through oilways in it would be included in this route.  Excess fuel would be carried within the circulating oil in this way. Fuel does not go direct to the crankshaft.
