Head And Power

Hello folks

I have done a deal with the insurers after my bump and tomorrow I am swapping my Polo courtesy car back for my slightly dented Lexus (why oh why does anyone buy a Polo it is a dreadful car)

I have decided to repair the car myself and pocket the money saved to do up the engine, which has always been a tad problematic and a bit of other stuff I have been thinking off

So it is off with the head and new gaskets all round, I have had a slight missfire reoccuring and deep down I know its a gasket on its way out so will change that and hope my feelings are right, also I can hear a small blow from the exhaust manifold so may as well do the lot

Can anyone help me before I start on the dismantle

Are they normal bolt heads or special torque types ? because I haven't seen the actual head bolts yet

Any clues on Torque for the head bolt refit, or is it two grunts a heave and 3 white knuckles

Any hidden bolts on the head ?

Any hints welcome or is there somewhere on the LOC site with a strip list I have missed

Then once that is done, I have a nice wizards of noz NO2 kit that has been laying around for a while that was +70 bhp on a 3 litre V6 ford I had

Has anyone fitted nitros oxide to a GS300 and if so were there any problems ? I am always a bit dubious when a mega engine management system like a Lexus is changed by NO2 as it can cause mega fuel issues as the oxy sensors sometimes go into overdrive

:tomato:
