Rx300 Sel 05 Air Suspension Problems

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have an RX300 SEL 05 from Lexus Bolton. Its done approx 19,500 miles.

Last week I had a problem with the car appearing to pull to the left and jarring when going over small bumps.

When I pulled off the motorway into the services I noticed one side of the car was higher than the other.

After re-starting the car and adjusting the suspension settings a few times it levelled out so I thought nothing of it.

This morning I had the same problem but this time it just will not level no matter what.

Can anyone please tell me whats likely to be wrong and what to do about it?

Many thanks in anticipation of your responses.

Sean

Search this site for 'Rx300 Sel Suspension, Collapse'. This should answer your query, although my May'05 SE-L was, I was assured, not susceptible to the same problem as it only applied to earlier models.

Thanks Sabastian.

Took the car into the dealership (RRG Bolton) and it was on the ramps in minutes.

They replaced one self levelling sensor and will replace the rest when its serviced.

They also spotted the wheels are pitting and so will replace them at the same time.

All work comes under warranty.

Very pleased with the service.

I'm less pleased with the car.
