Knocking

Hello fellow Lexus owners. I've had my IS200 for 4 months now and very happy with it. Only let down is the knocking coming from the front specially when parking. A bit embarrassing sometimes. I've also read that lower balljoints are the common problem, would they check it on MOT as mine is due this week.

Anyway, how complicated is it to change these balljoints. I've had two labour quotes which are £30 each side from a local garage and £80 a side from a specialist. Just wondering if it's worth paying the extra amount going for the specialist. How much did you pay for yours to get done. Anyone knows any reputable garage that could do the job in North or Northwest London area, kindly let me know please. Thanks.
