Spraying / Paint Question

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

I need to spray (or actually get my old man to spray, he's got access to proper spray guns etc) a set of eyebrows.

My question is - I have a tin of touch up paint in the boot which was there when I purchased the car - previous buyer only used it once (thankfully as did an awful job) could this be used in a spray gun and would it need to be thinned or just used out of the tin?

Also I think the eyebrows need to be given an primer coat, on a platinum ice finish I guess a white primer is needed?

Many thanks

Just to update if anyone searches for the same question. The small tin of touch up paint from Lexus can be used to spray stuff, being oil based you should slightly thin the paint (approx 30%) and can then be happily sprayed for a very good finish. Lacquer once dry. Did my eyebrows a treat.
