Electrical Fault? O2/lambda Sensor

My Engine light came on, an the diagnostics suggested that it was the heater matrix o2 sensor in one of the banks, i got it replaced and a day later the light came on with the same fault.

apparently the lambda sensor is not getting enough power, so therefore its not burning the petrol hard enough when i accelerate (that would explain my crappy fuel consumption at the moment!)

they tried to say its to do with my sound system but i doubt it very much.

anyone came accross this, my first idea is to check the grounding near or on the sensor bank as its not getting enough power to heat!!!!
