The Stock Cup Holder in the 1991 LS400 is not very useful. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to upgrade, change, or replace this for a more usefull verson. I am even willing to replace the whole consoule if it will make the cup holder more useful!!

It is a BITCH to drive and drink my Morning coffee when the cup will not fit the holder

;) ;)

LOL smaller cup would be the easiest thing. I've learned to drive with cups between my legs. You think about it... the cup holder needs to be within hands reach. Your only choices would be to get/make a hanging cup holder to hang off the door, modify the existing cup holder, or make a makeshift cup holder out of the center console which would mean that you would either not have a console cover or it would have to be open while you drink.

BTW you can remove the cupholder by removing screws out fo the center console and carefully prying up the inside of the console to pop it out. It took two lexus techs to take out the console lol! Apparently they don't do it all the time!
