I got myself a spare ipod that i want to place in the car.... ive also got the original working cd player in the lex too..

been reading that i need a grombit to connect the ipod to the stereo....

but how does one change (Forward, Back) the tracks... is this done by the ipod or the controls on the cd-player unit?

If you have the ipod grom, it's all done via the headunit. You can have 6 playlists on the iPod, the stereo will read them like 6 CDs in a CD changer - track up and down buttons will navigate through tracks.
