Checking Rear Pads - Easy Way ?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys

Last few weeks I've been getting a high pitch squeel when coming to a stop (last 5 mph) from the rear.

Is there another way, apart from removing the wheels, to check rear pad wear ?

Any where I can measure ?

I can't find a mirror small enough to have a looksee either !

Thanks !

yeah surely just remove the wheel and look into the top of the calliper and youl see if theres any meat left opn the pads and if there is you could try removing the caliper to check the pad face to see if it has something stuck to the face? ie. grit or something?
