I've had an RX 400H for about two weeks. A groaning/buzzing noise fills the cabin every time the engine cuts in. On very light throttle it can be there for a second or two, with more throttle it can be heard for a split second or so. It doesn't sound like there's a major problem and is more an annoyance than anything. The car is still under warranty but before I take it to the dealer I wondered if anybody else knows what causes it.
