Re the switches on the front pillars etc that detect door closure on a friend's IS200LE:-

The wiring in the pillar behind the switches is too short to allow it to be pulled out enough to fit onto a new switch. It only reaches as far as about 2 cm behind the hole. Does anybody know an easy alternative access to the wiring to make this possible?
