Hi every one, looking for advice and views, return the favour if i can :winky: .

IS200, 2006 plate, limp home mode - no more than 20mph,

code P2002: Particulate trap efficiency below threshold bank 1

The DPF filter was replaced with a NOT new one :whistling: , car ran fine for 3 weeks, now back to P2002.

Info gained using a snapy scanner, snapy dont cover lexus so only have very basic EOBD live data, so looking for views and comments, any one else had this problem ?

The other question i have, i know vaux on some models remove certain items (egr valve code) from the cars ecu data so it cant be seen when it fails, been told this can be done on the lexus range aswell, ie: wipe the DPF filter code from the ecu system all together/or put to sleep, lying dormant if you get my drift

Spannerman,

I have just posted regarding this fault code and am waiting to see if Lexus will foot the £5000 bill for the repair as this seems to be a common problem.

Hopefully will find out on Friday and will keep you posted on the result.

Good luck mate.
