1996 Ls400 - Buyers Checklist

I'm thinking of having a look at an LS400 that is local to me. It's a P plate with 126k miles and a cambelt change at 123k miles. Owner says it's been in the family for 5 years, but the car has had 11 previous owners! All sounds good apart from the number of previous owners. Having said that - I got the Mrs a Golf years ago which had 8 previous owners, and it was fine.

Anyway, any pointers as to what to look out for on a 96 LS400? Is there a buying guide somewhere that I haven't seen?

I may also be looking at a W reg LS400 with the DHP - anything different to look out for on these compared to the earlier cars?
