Hi Guys,

A minor problem I know, but this is starting to bug me now. The interior lining to my sunroof cover has

come loose on my is200 and is getting all bunched up when I open and close it.

Does anyone know how I can get at it to fix the problem? I'm hoping it doesen't involve removing the

entire roof lining.

Thanks

that's the only way my friend....

remove the roof liner then you can get complete access to the sunroof liner get your self a spraycan adhesive.

loosen the original lining completely

clean it up with thinner and then wait for it to dry properly.

Then spray the bottom with the adhesive evenly and reapply the fabric back to it working from the middle to the sides. and bring it all the way around.

let it dry for at least 8 hours (best way is to have something laying on it, applying even pressure during the dry process)

also a hair-dryer will speed up this process as warm adhesive dries better.

then re-assemble everything in the car.

This is the only way there are no shortcuts to this other wise it'll look nasty unless you get one from a scrapped car in the right colour then you can just exchange the sunroof liner ;)
