Can anyone tell me what year did Lexus start adding firmware to the satnav disc which enaabled the destination to be input whilst on the move? I'm interested in buying a used disc, but obviously want the added functionality. I am still running the original 2006 disc but don't really want to spend £139 for a 2012 disc. Just want a older disc with the firmware installed.

2008/2009 and onwards.

If that is all you want you don't need a new disk. Just find somebody who will lend you a newer disk. Borrow it to update your firmware and go back to using the old disk.

I live in Beckenham. You are free to try mine if you are close.
