Goodyear Eagle F1's, Bridgestone Potenza's, Pirelli P-Zero's, Yokohama Advan Sport's, Continental Sport Contact's, Falken ZE912's, amongst others.

There are many many good tyres out there. Personally, I'm really happy with the Hankooks that came on my IS when I bought it (Ventus V12 Evo)

Of the tires mention above; I've tested Goodyear, Bridgestone, Pirelli, Yokohama and Continental.

Goodyear and Continental do not like to be stressed (the sidewalls are to soft).

The Pirelli are a bit to "snappy" for my taste (when you lose grip; you have to be fast as h..l to correct).

I had a look at Tire Rack (most of the time; we agree on the performance issues of tires).

If you look at 215/45R17 and sort them by grip (from high to medium) you end up with:

Toyo Proxes R888

Toyo Proxes R1R

Yokohama Advan Neova AD08

Yokohama Advan Sport

Kumho Exsta XS
