Ls430 Arm Rest Front Not Opening Properly

Recommended Posts

If your ls430 armrest doesn't open properly without the whole arm being pushed forward, your hinges are loose ..... Take out the bottom box cover , remove two 10mm bolts, remove air vent tube at rear remove two 10mm bolts and a 8mm self tapper. Remove gear surround console and remove 4x 8mm self tappers. Unplug light and cigarette lighter/aux socket. Pull box up and out at the rear. Remove all small Philips screws that hold the arm rest on. You will then see four gold Philips screws holding the hinges, tighten and then doo the whole thing in reverse .......

Or you could save yourself half an hour abd simply remove the two second to back black Philips screws, lift the flaps slightly and then tighten the four gold Philips screws ....

Well if you didnt know in the first place how the hell was I to know its that easy lol
