Both Hid Bulbs Done?.. Coincidence Or Not?

Recommended Posts

1 of my bulbs has been out for a couple of weeks, well, it comes on and then goes out after a few minutes. Now the other side has done the same, this seems very weird that both would go like this.

I am not quiet sure how these bulbs differ from normal bulbs in their characteristics but could this be coincidence whereas I just buy two new bulbs which will cost me an arm and a leg, or could it be down to something else?

Normally I would just go and buy the bulbs and find out, but at £60 per bulb, I can't afford to take a gamble, if it's something else, ie, fuse, low Battery power etc...

Please advise..

Thanks

Scott

I think the only way your gonna find out if it's a bulb problem or ballast or something else is to first buy a new bulb and see if it works.

Hindsight is great but you should've swapped the bulbs over when 1 side was working and 1 side wasn't. Then you would have known for sure if it was a bulb or something else.

I have had ungraded bulbs blow on one side and every time I replace it the other side goes as soon as I turn the lights in my opinion they must so powerful that theslightestcdifference in current between the two bulbs ie one new one old it blows the older one by having an imbalance of power anyone else found this????
