  1. Im after a rear passenger side light, mines got a crack in and want to replace it.

    Its for X reg IS200

    Located in the Birmingham area,

    07746923499

What finish is it you are after!!!!!!!!

  2. no probably not, what they did at the end of the old model IS was offer free upgrades at point of sale, so theres a lot of 2004-2005 models with kits on from new for example

the dealers (don't know if its all of them) are franchised so different dealers have different clearout deals from time to time, Lexus birmingham has a shop on ebay where they offload random stuff, their sport grilles are all £40, but I did get a centre cap for 99p with free post...

All Dealers were offering the Sports Grill for under £40 since 2005.

  3. Ive heared many things about diffrent times and milages in regards to the belts some mechanics say 10 years or 90k on these cars and others say 5 years or 50k miles. Non the less i will be gettign mine done. I woulodnt mind taking the new lexus for a test drive so arrange to have it while my cars in the garage :D

I remember when i asked about this to the Lexus dealer and they said 50k as well... should i just ignore that and get it done at 60k? my current mileage is 41k at the mo

Its 60k or 6 years whichever comes first. Had mine done at 43k

  4. I am thinking about doin this now if i can get a loan car haha....is it any extra? i bought my car about 8months ago with 62,000 miles on its done nearly 71 now so its due

never charged me mate - im 22 and ive never had to pay any exra for insurance etc

just make sure you book a week or 2 in advance so they can reserve one for you :)

They don't charge you just have to agree to pay any excess if you are involved in a prang as I was :crybaby: Cost me £500 as car only had 300 miles on the clock.

  5. the car is for illustration purposes, he told me about 2 months ago he never comes across the bumpers, he gets altezzas in quite often, the door in that listing won't even be off that particular car

Well there you are. Never take anything for granted. Thanks Rory for clarifying the situation.

  6. My car is blue but colour is not important as I will be respraying it in 3 weeks time. There is a silver bootlid with spoiler on a car on eBay but they want 175 smackers for it. I asked the guy to check if it had a brake light and he came back and said it had a reversing light (I guess he was confused because the lens is clear).

  7. Around me BP are always a penny or two more expensive than anyone else - I had always put it down to the fact that they have the largest number of fleet users but that is just a guess.

Need the money for the oil spill......??

Oil spill or not they have always been more expensive that is why I don't buy petrol from BP.

  8. aaah a bit too far away mate - i know where theres a few near me on breakers

So lexynik where are you based then because I am also looking for an OEM Sports Spoiler with the brake light. I am i London where are these breakers then???

  9. OK I will try them first. I had problems with the first set I bought some 5 years ago and they were replaced under warranty as some of the LEDs failed but they were also showing a dash board warning light at the time. I actually bought them from a LOC member trading on eBay (Scorcher), don't know if he is still a LOC member. So these lights are new but I have actually had them for 4 years and not used them so the questions is I don't know if they do have the resistors built in. Once fitted I will let you all know how they perform.

  10. Ormi,

Yes I know they just plug into the existing bulb holder but I wondered do I just leave them as they are or do I secure the bulb holder to the brake light housing. I am worried if I don't water may get in.

Any details/links on the sort of resistors I will need?? Any information you can give will be appreciated.

  11. I am thinking of installing these soon and wondered what steps I need to take to prevent the dreaded dash board warning lights popping up as I have experienced this in the past. Also once I connect these to the existing bulb holder do I push the wires in the housing and secure the bulb holder as per usual??
