it cools down the air though the exhaust so when it comes out the noise is deadened hence the silent i think this is what happens or so i was told

just fitted my new HKS silent took about twenty mins and half a can of WD40 to loosen the rubber mounts. rear view

just fitted the exhaurst took all of twenty mins looks sweet :winky: just out the box side view sorry poor light it gets so dam dark early (and the dirty motor)

gotta get my winderscreen replaced thursday due to a crack and chip is there any thing i should look for when they replace it like where the sealent should cover to stop future leaks thanks wayne

both the same, both refer to the section after the catalytic convertor section. IS and altezza are different from here forward as far as i know. Where is everyone buying these exhausts from TDI? no got mine from dave at prolex

got mine from dave at prolex for £370 aparently you cant get them new cheaper in england as hks wont let you put a discount on there products spoke top shaun at tdi who also do them for the same price

yeah thinking of getting one want a exhaust that looks good not to loud at low revs but a bit of grunt when under a bit revs and ive been told this is what i should get been speaking to dave at prolex

Its rather large though, SurgicalVirus will be on your case :D I think it said "4" tail pipe??? ....why will surgicalvirus be on my case then iceman? the blues and twos normaly like to pull you over for mods no idea why :shutit: :winky:

I can relate to that ... thought i'd never get it off... eventually stuck a big screwdriver through it had all the right tools the ones they use but still was a b*!@h -

Hi Wayne, how much oil did you use and what type, thanks i used 10-40 as stated in the owners manual used 4ltrs gonna take it for a drive and check the level the manual states 4.2 ltrs but only used 4 so far -
just decided to drop my oil and do a filter change what a pig oil drain was fine but getting my old oil filter off was a nightmare had all the right tools as my mate who use to work for lexus but even he was suprised how tight it was at one point i was hangging off the wrench with my feet clean off the floor think the bloke who put it on last time must have used a wrench to do it up when its says hand tight on it anyway thats my moan over. :shutit:
