  1. Everyone knows that the NX,UX & LBX AWD Systems are Electronic & are controlled by the CPU. 10 Years ago the System had very limited instances when AWD was triggered but today it is far more sophisticated & is perfect for all On- Road conditions. Fit All-Weather tyres & the above could venture across the Countryside fields with ease but Owners of the above vehicles are not interested in this potential Quality. Tel
  2. AWD every time for me because it is more secure on the road, usually has a very high spec & mpg hardly suffers. Tel
  3. In my experience, the Lexus Portal & Lexus Link+ are not informative . Lexus Derby & Lexus Twitter have excelled. The 2026/7 UX will be larger to move it away from the LBX & allow larger UXE Batteries to address the Range Issue. Tel
  4. Lexus Twitter Team or your Dealer know which Container Ship your LBX is on. Tel
  5. My Car is off Singapore on the Opel Ace Container Ship. Chuffed. Tel
  6. Paul, Which model have you purchased & the Lexus Map auto starts when ignition is turned on. I use Apple Maps & my LBX should auto connect. Tel
  7. Assume your LBX mate knew from his Dealer when his car will be delivered ? My Dealer has told me mine is scheduled for Production (soon) which confirms the Lexus Tweet Team who told me in March my LBX is scheduled for Build in April with Delivery mid-June. I informed my Sales Guy the Link & Portal Apps show no movement & he has informed me my car is in Production.Takes about 12hrs to produce a car & 72hrs or more to be in readiness to ship. Once I can track my Vessel I will be content. Tel
  8. Don, How much were the Mud Flaps as a matter of interest ? I remain frustrated as my Ap still has not triggered Build in Progress. Becomes exciting, as you well know., once you can track the Ship. Terry
  9. Assuming it is Built this month it has been in the Processing Phase for 3 months & c. 2 to 3 months to Deliver. Spec is critical & there is the odd cancelation if you are very lucky. Tel
  10. Don You infer you. are buying a LBX oe are the items for your BUD ? Tel
  11. Had a Video Call yesterday from my Dealer to say my LBX is scheduled for production this week. My Lexus Link + Ap & The Lexus Portal do not show any movement but they may be in real time & only trigger when the Car actually is being made. When I first ordered the Car, Lexus UK said I would receive 4 Video Calls, the next willl be when it leaves the Factory. I understand Delivery will be mid- June. When it is on the Ship I will see how much the Insurance is & whether Mud-Flaps are available. Tel
  12. Last Summer I drove to the South Coast & had no issues whatsoever ducking & diving above the National Speed Limit in my Yaris Cross which averaged 58mpg. Previous year, my NX F-Sport ,on the same journey, averaged 38 mpg & was super refined. My LBX will better my Cross & be close to my NX . Assume the O.E. LBX was a cancelled Order &,lets face it, are costly for a FWD option. Tel
  13. In my view, Lexus are the luxury arm of Toyota with bullet proof reliability. Factory fitted standard items on a Lexus/Toyota Model cost c. 20% plus above list price when you compare any German offering with the equivalent spec yet their reliability is imperfect & the Trade ignores high-specced Audis et al. My LBX will be the Eco Equivalent of the NX450i I nearly bought, given the standard Michelin Tyres are no match for the NX AVS but I do save 23k. Tel
  14. I fancied the Original Edition but did not select as it was only in FWD mode. Interestingly my Dealer knew the UK Specs last December so I am surprised you were mis-lead. Tel
  15. There are 2 Trim Options for my Model Choice & one is perforated seat material that will easily allow a vented seat cushion. Back in the day, I paid 0000's to get heated/cool seats but many Members got cooling by connecting to the rear seat ducting. Tel
  16. You can no Build/Configure your LBX & I am relieved I could not have bettered my Original Choice. Tel
  17. No sign of damage underneath your trim so Don above is spot-on. Tel
  18. Mine is scheduled to be built April 20th. 2024 & will be in Derbyshire 2 months later. Ruby Red must be in short supply ! Tel
  19. The LBX Factory, in the East of Japan , is a long-standing Yaris Cross Factory too so, for once, I have no concerns whatsoever about first year glitches. The LBX production will be over 6months old when they build mine & ,pre-pandemic, The Toyota Production System was geared to a maximum of 6 months to erase product flaws. Our Aygo X was perfect & was a very early model. Hence Zero concerns. Tel
  20. J, My Yaris Cross AWD is refined, Don of Chesterfield Cross with improved insulation & quieter tyres, was even better. My LBX refinement will be much improved on the Chesterfield Cross. My Cross is swift & economical. An additional 0.4 AWD will still mean my LBX will fly. Tel
  21. Interesting because AWD gives improved grip & a much improved rear suspension. Cannot wait to see if anyone on the Forum gets theirs before me. Tel
  22. The UXe has a beautiful ride/handling Combo, even without AVS, but Summer Range Issues above 70mph were very poor. Tel
  23. My LBX has an April Build Slot & a June Delivery. Demand must be excellent as you still cannot Build your Car , Fit Factory Options & you Pay a refundable £500. . Tel
  24. My LBX is now June Delivery @ best. AWD is said to be the Issue. Tel
