  1. It's got to be McCoys chargrilled steak flavour, closely followed by bacon wheat crunchies
  2. Cheers Steve, i can get into the gold forums but not my messages inbox for some reason.
  3. When re-registering for the gold forums, did you have to pay your subscription fee again?
  4. Andy, 27, live in Milton Keynes (city of roundabouts!!) Electrical engineer working for beverage can manufacturer (we make those Embossed Stella cans that are easier to hold onto!!) Have had my 200 sport since late last year, love it to bits but i wish it had another 100 bhp!!!! Othe main interest after cars is motorbikes, got a gsxr 600 in the garage for those sunny sunday mornings, which more than makes up for the cars lack of power
  5. Wildrnes, which company gives gold members discount on Meguiars products? had a quick look but couldn't find them. Cheers
  6. Geoffers, It's got a SIS chipset, would it be worth trying new drivers? Andy
  7. Yep, powered hub that plugs into the mains, thing is though the modem appears to be powered up just not communicating with the laptop, anyways, I've given up with it for now, going to get a ps2 adaptor for the mouse instead. Cheers for the replies people.
  8. Thanks for the replies guys, i've been trying all your suggestions but to no avail. The hub is a self powered one and the modem works fine when plugged straight into the laptop usb port. When i try plugging the modem into the hub, the laptop sees the hub and powers up the modem (power light on but no line light) but it says the modem is not responding. I'm on the verge of giving up and following gamesounds suggestion of finding a big window to throw the laptop and the hub through!!! All i want to be able to do is use my usb optical mouse at the same time as the modem!!!! Andy
  9. Cheers for the reply Matthew, i've tried the modem on its own through the hub and still no luck, it seams to be powered up ok, i think that for whatever reason, the signal isn't going through it.
  10. Not car related in anyway but, anyone on here a pc guru? I've just been out and brought a self powered 4 port usb hub with the intention of running my broadband modem, cd writer and opitical mouse through it as i've only got one usb port on my laptop :( . The mouse works fine though it but i cant get the modem to play, it powers up just fine but isn't getting a signal through the hub. The hub is a belkin pocket hub and the modem is a bt voyager. Any help would be appreciated Cheers Andy
  11. As Johnny boy suggested, try some Meguiars, they do a product called scratch x which is made for removing light scratches and swirl marks, I haven't tried it myself but am told it does the job very well.
  12. Just out of interest, what other cars did you consider before buying an Is200/300? and what car did you drive before changing to a Lexus ? I thought about; Audi S3 (wasn't what i was expecting} BMW 3 series (sorry but i had a quick look and quickly decided NO!) Subaru Impreza (crap interior but goes well!) Drove a VW Golf before but got fed up with the lack of creature comforts, it was a few years old though.
  13. A couple of years ago, I was looking at S3's and after a few test drives I came to the conclusion that the S3 was quick in a straight line but the handling wasn't what I'd expected from a 4 wheel drive car, no where near as sure footed through tight and twisty bends as it should be. Great looking car though and you don't see that many on the roads.
  14. Javadude, is that including a new bumper?
  15. Kavey, unfortunatly I didn't take any pictures, best bet is to phone your local chips away man and take your car to where he's working (if it's not to far away of course) so he can have a look, at the same time you can have a look at the work he's doing to someone else's car to see the finished result. The bloke who did mine said they tackle nearly all minor repairs i.e. scratches, stonechips, small creases and dents but there is a limit to what they are prepaired to undertake.
