  1. Never rains........

At least you are a bit of a dab hand with the paint sprayer now mate :)

I would suggest parking that way again and video evidence of the reckless manor in which they do it.

Plus then go out with the camera and take a note of the reg and the face of the guy that did the deed.

Slightly confrontational, but they won't dare do it again matey :tsktsk:

  2. I have been there a few times now, (Supercharger fitment, Exhaust, Anti-Roll Bars amongst other things)

I'd very happily recommend Charlesworth for the work they have done on my car :)

Billnick where in Kent are you mate ?

Albin B Motors in Beckenham have been used a few times by members of LOC, but I have never used them.

It may also be worth asking them for a quote ?

  3. Sounds like big issues. I don't know if this will help, but probably worth a try.........

I can only suggest re-setting the ECU which is done in the following way.

Make sure the ignition is turned off

    Open the Bonnet

Remove the engine bay fuse box cover

    Remove the 20Amp/25Amp EFI fuse

    Remove the 15Amp ETCS fuse

    Wait 30 seconds

    Re-insert the two fuses

    Install the fuse box cover

    Close the Bonnet

If that doesn't help I would suggest calling the RAC etc after you have checked all the fuses if you are a member, or a competant auto-electrician.

    Good luck mate :)

  4. The fact this thread was started by an Everton Fan speaks volumes. Thank you.

The City of Liverpool came together in 1989, Red or Blue really didn't matter.

The 96 fans who died were just innocent Mum's, Dad's & Children supporting their team.

It was just a game of football and they went to cheer on their team.

Their one & only only mistake was being at the front.

Please spend two minutes later today remembering those innocent souls who went along to see football match.........

    & never returned home.

  5. I have some new Falken FK-452's on mine recently, and am very impressed with the levels of grip wet or dry,

the price is also very good IMO.

Just a slight reservation whilst braking on very uneven surfaces the car tries to follow the imperfections

rather than track straight. This is only happens on very poor roads, they perform flawlessly otherwise.

This may just mean the car is due another check up @ WIM

  6. THE HORTH WHITHPERER

A guy calls his buddy, the horse rancher, and says he's sending a friend over to look at a horse.

His buddy asks, 'How will I recognize him?'

    'That's easy; he's a midget with a speech impediment.'

So, the midget shows up, and the guy asks him if he's looking for a male or female horse.

    'A female horth.'

So he shows him a prized filly.

'Nith lookin horth. Can I thee her eyeth'?

So the guy picks up the midget and he gives the horse's eyes the once over.

'Nith eyeth, can I thee her earzth'?

So he picks the little fella up again, and shows him the horse's ears.

'Nith earzth, can I see her mouf'?

The rancher is getting pretty ticked off by this point, but he picks him up again and shows him the horse's mouth.

'Nice mouf, can I see her twot'?

Totally mad as fire at this point, the rancher grabs him under his arms and rams the midget's head as far

as he can up the horse's private parts, then pulls him out and slams him on the ground.

The midget gets up, sputtering and coughing.

    (wait for it......)

'Perhapth I should rephrase that. Can I thee her wun awound a widdlebit ?'

    :D  :D  :D  :D

  7. I know (to my cost £££) anyone in the Entertainment/Nightclub/Bars industry gets a 30% or even greater increase

in their premiums. I do know people who try to hide the extra cost via "alternative" job descriptions, but I'd much

rather know I'd be covered in the event of a claim.......

You always must remember the insurance company has a disclaimer somewhere in the small print along the lines of

"you must disclose any material facts that would affect our underwriters assesment of the risk, failure to disclose any such fact could invalidate your insurance".......... nuff said :winky:

  8. I have them on my car and very happy with the performance & styling though they are possibly due for replacing

(about 18 months old from what I remember now) or at least a healthy dose of vinegar to give them a pep up.

I do know of 2 people who bought the no name copies of the genuine Bosh items from E-bay, they both regretted it as the a blade detatched at high speed for both people. Also I believe one LOC member had them but his ones seemed

quite noisy for some reason ? They are very easy to fit. I can't help as to wether they would fit on the RX as I don't know anything about their wipers arrangement. I think some cars may have issues with cantilever types.
