  1. I was given a tip from a local car upholsterer for tiny scratches or marks that show different colours through...

a tiny amount of black Kiwi Shoe Polish and some spit, rub in gently with a yellow duster, leave for 5 mins and

then buff to take off any excess.

He did say be very sparing with the polish, you can always do another 'treatment'.

Obviously Black Polish is no good for Beige Leather, but maybe a Tan polish is worth a gamble ?

(just don't blame me if it doesn't match !!)

  2. Welcome to LOC mate, just as above cambelt, plus also check & keep an eye on inner front tyre wear.

Even if you find it, a solution is available, a trip to WIM (Wheels-InMotion) in Chesham will sort it.

  3. Nice one, i shall mount it in the rear. :winky:

ooh the comments that post could receive   but I'll leave it to aido to be naughty :)

Anyways best of luck with your system mate, you could modify the facia like I have and other members have done too.

This is Steviewevie's Double DIN Facia after this simple mod

Here shows the massive difference between the facia as supplied by Autoleads and after :)

I think you would agree it matches the Lexus dash much better after !!

It is very easy, it just takes some very very basic D.I.Y skills, a link is in my signature below.

Also you will need an amp wiring kit for your subwoofer ?

(power/earth leads, remote lead, RCA Phono plus fuses & fuse holder to be mounted in the engine bay)

Good luck & please keep us posted with how you get on, & remember we love pics !!

  4. Need more info mate as Stevie mentions above, where did you source the Bypass lead ?

Firstly I would check the connections, then return the lead and ask for them to check it's operation

(unless you have a wiring diagram plus a multimeter & know how to use it).

Is the Head Unit you have fitted also new ? Are you certain that it is working perfectly and has no mute function

    in operation ?

  5. Did mine last year, was amazed how much crud came off what I though was quite clean paintwork :o

Firstly washed, then rinsed & dried, then clay bar with Meguiars quick clay, rinse again then Autoglym SRP,

then Autoglym EGP to seal it, then Collinite 476S wax to finish :D

The clay bar will get dirty Chris, just kneed it until it becomes clean again and carry on :)

Replace eventually if it becomes exessively dirty, or bin it straight away if you drop it on the ground.
