Loving your front end Patrik, why bother with a real bumper ?
-
Wow ! Really useful info mate :)
-
welcome matey, nice looking car :)
(BTW use the img tagged links and they will show up in your post, just paste the entire link in the window)

Welcome to LOC Simon, I hope you can post up some nice pictures of your new car :)
-
Glad it is sorted mate, as Aido said, how much was the new Black Box ?
-
Welcome to LOC mate, just as above cambelt, plus also check & keep an eye on inner front tyre wear.
Even if you find it, a solution is available, a trip to WIM (Wheels-InMotion) in Chesham will sort it.

Nice cars guys :)

Great idea :)

Great work Andrew, well done mate :)

All Clarkson did was to make two factual statements and one that was wrong.
Yes, Brown does have only one good eye.
Yes, he is Scottish.
No, Brown is not an idiot. He's a lying, incompetent, devious, corrupt (morally & politically), cheating, thieving
idiot.
but that still makes him an idiot !! ( smarmy well paid one too)

ok stav I have a choice of the intercooler that's on or the other bigger one jay has not fitted.now he says you need to maybe do a bit of modding to get it to fit on any ideas what's needed to make the bigger cooler fit?
mine isn't the Prolex intercooler, but this thread may help as I fitted a bigger one to my IS200 SC :D

Surely the breakers would have been arrested for recieving/handling stolen goods/car as it can't have had
correct paperwork ? That should mean they will drop the thieves in it with any luck

I prefer the Mintex, but my OE pads were pretty good too. I now have Mintex all round (changed at same time)
along with braided hoses, and they stop great IMO.

Welcome to LOC Deeg, lovely looking car mate :)

Are they the 17" 5 spokes with the Diamond Cut ? If so, no cheap way other than a full refurb or you could just
prep & spray over them, but you would lose the Diamond Cut Face

aaaah thats not fair, say anything you like but never compare me Twot Westwood

I thought it was changed back again last November (as previously mentioned) as the Government bottled it ?

I ban Mole for not letting people chat on the phone before replying to PM's

The sucess of the RL system is down to it being
A: Correctly fitted
B: Being correctly set up
Someone later found out found out a tuning company hadn't bothered with B at all
If set up correctly it is a great peice of kit by all accounts & much better than the OE version :)

Nice one, i shall mount it in the rear. :winky:
ooh the comments that post could receive  but I'll leave it to aido to be naughty :)
Anyways best of luck with your system mate, you could modify the facia like I have and other members have done too.
This is Steviewevie's Double DIN Facia after this simple mod
Here shows the massive difference between the facia as supplied by Autoleads and after :)
I think you would agree it matches the Lexus dash much better after !!
It is very easy, it just takes some very very basic D.I.Y skills, a link is in my signature below.
Also you will need an amp wiring kit for your subwoofer ?
(power/earth leads, remote lead, RCA Phono plus fuses & fuse holder to be mounted in the engine bay)
Good luck & please keep us posted with how you get on, & remember we love pics !!

Need more info mate as Stevie mentions above, where did you source the Bypass lead ?
Firstly I would check the connections, then return the lead and ask for them to check it's operation
(unless you have a wiring diagram plus a multimeter & know how to use it).
Is the Head Unit you have fitted also new ? Are you certain that it is working perfectly and has no mute function
in operation ?
-
Have you tried WIM as they can arrange for refurbs, also lepsons in gillingham have a good reputation
-
Did you solve this problem ?
-
Did mine last year, was amazed how much crud came off what I though was quite clean paintwork :o
Firstly washed, then rinsed & dried, then clay bar with Meguiars quick clay, rinse again then Autoglym SRP,
then Autoglym EGP to seal it, then Collinite 476S wax to finish :D
The clay bar will get dirty Chris, just kneed it until it becomes clean again and carry on :)
Replace eventually if it becomes exessively dirty, or bin it straight away if you drop it on the ground.

I was given a tip from a local car upholsterer for tiny scratches or marks that show different colours through...
a tiny amount of black Kiwi Shoe Polish and some spit, rub in gently with a yellow duster, leave for 5 mins and
then buff to take off any excess.
He did say be very sparing with the polish, you can always do another 'treatment'.
Obviously Black Polish is no good for Beige Leather, but maybe a Tan polish is worth a gamble ?
(just don't blame me if it doesn't match !!)
