That means modifying it in my book. Cutting or painting.. all the same. Why dont they just make one right in the first place that fits all the switchgear & matches the dash ? Would that be far too simple ? Or could they be in league with Autoleads

Re Aidie comments above The Autoleads kit is black (fair enuff) but got the texture of sandpaper... a good match ? Not for my Lex thanks. Don't try to use the original speakers. Get some new Alpine or Infinity 6x9's and amp them if u can.... Look at my post HERE to see what can be achieved with some work....

Hi all that went today, it was great to mee t you all ... where were the rest of u ? Bazza hope u & Janey got in ok. I wish I had a video camera when you were pushing the car with Mr Jiberjaber with Janey @ the wheel. ...a proper "you've been framed moment". I'm not good with it either. Halfrauds Wet + Dry pack(various grades) Halfrauds Plastic Primer Spray(1 Can) Halfrauds Satin Black Spray(1 Large can) Send me a message and I will talk u thru it. I think it is well worth the extra effort. I made sure mine was solid by glueing the bottom section in first then filled with smooth P38, then sanded + Painted. There is a genuine Toyota part that can go in, but it is double din only!! TOYOTA Part No 55413-53010 (next week cos working today @ 4 til 3am then Grasshopper Inn Meet tomoz and working Sunday night too then a trip to WIM on monday) I'm told there is a Lexus genuine Illuminated Sill Kit Part NO pz439-co181-00 but u would need to check this is accurate + Prices.

Hi Matey, have a look at my post HERE . It Lists the Autoleads facia. I'd suggest you sand and paint it b4 you put it in the car so it matches the dash better.
