  1. I did get an oil and oil filter change in october and had a coolant leak in jan 09 so think that waterpump was replaced then. Does the other stuff really matter? Ive never had any my cars serviced before mind due I never kept them longer than a year.
  2. Hi there, I know there are a lot of posts about these already but I just wanted to get peoples opinions. I have a 52 plate SE with 39k on the clock. It was last service nov 2007 at 24k. I am probably one of the poorer lexus customers and dont want to spend a fortune. What service do you recommend i get and should i go main dealer or will my local garage do the same stuff? thanks in advance

  5. United Kingdom There is no fixed definition of a classic car. Two taxation issues do impact however, leading to some people using them as cutoff dates. All cars built before January 1, 1973, are exempted from paying the annual road tax vehicle excise duty. This is then entered on the license disc displayed on the windscreen as "historic vehicle" (if a car built before this date has been first registered in 1973 or later, then its build date would have to be verified by a recognized body such as British Motor Heritage Foundation to claim tax free status). The HM Revenue & Customs define a classic car for company taxation purposes as being over 15 years old and having a value in excess of £15,000.[4] [edit] Modern classics The Porsche 944 may be considered a modern classic. These vehicles are generally older, anywhere from 15–25 years, but are not accepted as classics according to the Antique Automobile Club of America. In the UK the Modern Classic definition is open to the discretion often by Insurance Brokers and Insurance Companies who regard a Modern Classic as a vehicle that is considered collectible regardless of age. 6. Just curious how long people will keep there is200 for? I really like my car and havent really considered buying a new car since I have owned it. previous to this i swapped my cars like mobile phones. The only reason I'd ever consider selling or getting rid is the MPG. I'd love to keep it for many years and hopefully in 20 years it could be a classic. Whats your thoughts guys?
  7. Hi Peeps, I have had my lovely lexus for just over 2 years now and have now done my 1st Mod! A grom adaptor for my Ipod. Im really pleased with it as done it all myself with help from the workshop guide. My only question is I dont seem to be able to control the Ipod through the head unit or put it in advanced mode. Anybody know how I can resolve this? Thanks,
  8. Sorry if this has been posted before. Does the grom adaptor work for the IS200 2002 SE model. I looked on grom audio and it stated only is300/is250/is350 were compatible. Has anyone fitted this too there IS200 and if so how the hell do u get the head unit out? Thanks for any help.
