  1. Technically i wouldn't because i work for Premier, only IBC get the discounts.

My dad's Chief Officer for IBC at the Luton plant though so i'd geta better discount through him. At one point i was looking at the Astra Coupe Convertible 2.0i 16v Turbo:

    OTR price = £19,995.00

    Partners price = £17,617.20

    Saving = £2,377.60

Depending on the model, Vauxhall Partners and their famalies are eligible for Partners savings of upto 17% on a new Vauxhall or Saab. The convertible worked out at a 12% discount.

  2. I don't work the door, i choose to work inside where all the action is. Makes the night go alot quicker, it's warmer and i'm in the atmosphere.

Slap 'em? Never sir, always escorted with the correct procedures ;)

Ive been doing it about a year now, got my licence when i was 18. Risky business, ive had some *very* close shaves.

  3. I work at Mission in Bedford, you probably havn't heard of it but it's a pretty big club. Had a few stars there too... from Eastenders on seperate occasions; Robbie, Steve Owen, Beppe... The So Solid Crew... Tim Westwood dj'd for a whole night for a private hire... Daniel Beddingfield (spelling?) sung 'Gotta Get Thro This' when it was big... The Honeyz... etc etc blah blah blah.

Yes they know about me being a doorman, when i first started my supervisor just said 'that's handy to know' lol.

It's ok, i get the social life without the hang-over. Whilst people are p*ssing their money up the wall in the club i'm actually earning, and i feel better in the morning ;)

  4. Ive had a think, and this would be best for me:

    Typical Example

    Lexus Purchase Plan

    Lexus IS200 SE

    On The Road Cash Price

    £20,230.00

    Deposit

    £5,000.00

    36 Monthly Payments

    £495.77

    Total Amount Payable*

    £22,887.72

    APR

    11.3%

Trouble is, i'm not looking to buy one brand new. Realistically i want to spend about £15k on a 2nd hand IS200 SE, will the dealership (whichever one i purchase from) offer me the same Purchase Plan i.e pay a deposit upfront and then the rest over 36 months?

  5. That sites a great help :)

I think this would be best for me:

    Lexus Purchase Plan

Lexus Purchase Plan is a flexible, traditional and simple hire purchase option. This plan is suitable for customers who want to pay a fixed amount each month and are certain that they want to own the car at the end of the agreement.

    Key Benefits:

You will own your Lexus at the end of the agreement

Budgeting is made simple as your repayments are fixed throughout the agreement

    No large final payment

    Reduced initial outlay

    How it works

Choose the Lexus you wish to drive

Agree the repayment period that is right for you

At the end of the agreement, providing the terms have been met, pay the option to purchase fee and the car is yours

    Typical Example

    Lexus Purchase Plan

    Lexus IS200 SE

    On The Road Cash Price

    £20,230.00

    Deposit

    £5,000.00

    36 Monthly Payments

    £495.77

    Total Amount Payable*

    £22,887.72

    APR

    11.3%

*Includes £90 acceptance fee payable in the first rental and £40 option to purchase fee payable at the end of the contract.

Full written quotations available on request. Indemnities required in certain circumstances. All applications for credit are subject to acceptance. Prices and rates are correct at time of publication.

  6. Thanks for your help, some very useful info.

I heard the Mk dealership is opening early next year, so hopefully it'll be around the time when i'm going to purchase.

Leasing would probably be better for me, one thing though - when leasing do they let you modify it? All im really looking to do is give it some 19's and lower it (and tint the windows and add a spoiler if i decided to go for the SE)

  7. Hi all,

i'm looking to buy a black IS200 Sport early next year, what sort of price should i be looking to pay for a 2nd hand one with reasonable mileage?

Also, i'm in the Bedfordshire area but read that Lexus Milton Keynes is closed - can anyone reccomend any other dealers within reasonable distance?

What sort of finance deals can i expect?

Any info would be a great help and much appreciated.
