just fitted my hid kit all i can say is what an amazing difference the 6500k kit made, just lights up the road !!! really easy to fit 30-40min max , was worried about how to mount the ballasts but they come with double sided adhesive pads as i really did not want to drill or screw them in , truly are a plug and play kit. just waiting for my led sidelights to arrive as the originals look yellow in comparison. thanks dave for the super fast delievery didnt expect to get them so quick with the xmas post! thanks

just ordered the super white xenon 6 led, 501 side light bulbs 12v £10.50 the pair.

gonna stick with 6500k as you say. is it worth changing sidelight bulbs aswell? cheers

just gone and ordered the pro lex 6500k hid kit cant wait to get it ! managed to persuade the mrs by telling her about the safety aspects , thats my xmas present sorted. thanks for the reply eightysix but gonna stick with buying from pro lex , as he is uk based.

just had the 60,000 mile service on the motor including cam belt, so thinking of keeping it for a while because the mileage is still low only 34,000, still drives like new. just been searching and found a few of you have got these hid kits on your cars, seems like a good mod as i never really have been too impessed with the standard headlights. after being in some other cars with xenon/hid lights they really seem to light the road up well. i see most of you have been using the pro lex kit, the price seems to be fair. does this kit produce the same kind of lighting as i have experienced in other cars? are the 6500k bulbs the best option, as i only want them to light up the road better? thanks

was in the dealers yesterday did see toyo tyres on a few of the is250s but not sure if they were the r32

just fitted my denso ik20 spark plugs ,had no problems fitting them also changed pollen filter and air filter. the car feels even smoother to drive. do you guys reset the ecu after fitting the spark plugs? thanks

just got my sparkplugs from the usa £35 all in, 7 days for delivery. thanks for the link macrs200. just got to fit them when i get a chance, hopefully they are the right ones the box says ik20, 5304 is this correct ? the gap pre set to o.4, is this also correct for the is200 ? thanks all

not sure about the vibration, i lowered the car 30mm using eibach springs, and then had the geometry set by dealers . i too had a problem with the car wandering it was also difficult to keep in a straight line and would follow the road towards any slant, camber or poor road surface, ruts etc. the steering would turn excessively, especially on braking. was also told lower ball joint was worn, but got it double checked independently and it was fine. have you got any irregular tyre wear? mine was showing signs of wear on the front outers, so i took it to an independant garage and had the geometry set, all i can say what a transformation on handling it now drives perfect with non of the problems i listed above mate. have you had the geometry checked?, even if you have i would get it checked again may be elsewere! i now love driving the car again, it feels like a new car even though it is six years old!

i know the feeling mate when your precious motor gets damaged know matter how small it really winds me up. thats why i try and also park furthest away from all the hustle and bustle.

just oredered a set of these plugs over the phone, says may be 2 weeks for delievery because of the holiday season. postage was $15.00. says he ships a lot to the uk.
