does anybody know what the front engine undertay looks like, i did a search but couldnt find any pictures. ive got the main undertray but is there other bits to it eg sump cover/guard, or other guards that attach to it ? im not sure if some bits are missing off it. thanks in advance :P

i think this is a common problem on alot of is200, mine does it occasionally its been covered a few times but no real answers to what causes it.

i had the big 60k service including the cambelt in december, also replaced standard plugs with denso ik20s. my fuel consumption also has dropped to 250 miles to the tank, after doing a few searches i ve noted a lot of you have reset the ecu. so i re seted the ecu and so far i have done 200 miles on half a tank, so im hoping to acheieve 400 miles by the time the light comes on. i would try this first, also check air filter housing and sensor is seated correctly.

get it jacked up or put it on axle stands to protect the tyres mate, i think a portable heater on a timer for a few hours would also help from preventing mould from the moisture. im sure other members will correct me if im wrong.

also got the meccatune 6500k hid kit from prolex, transforms the lighting completely!!!

have you checked the drive belt it may be slipping

i was told 100k/6 years for the cam belt change even though the service book states 100k . l e mailed lexus gb they said it is 100k/6 years, the 60k service is an expensive one mate if you decide to get it done at dealer.

nov 2000 x 35 000 miles

my car is november 2000 and came with top mount cd player, did not get any err messages as such but it did stop playing cds intermittently but had it changed under warranty at the time no problems with the new cd player.

kazi glad you also rate the verdestein ultracs, i only paid £290 for a set of 4 fitted balanced, bargain!!

i had a creaking sound after going over speed bumps, so i sprayed all my rubber bushes on the front suspension with spray grease/wd 40. i did have to spray them 2 or 3 times over a week and never heard the creaking sound again that was 2 years ago, put it down to dry joints!!

got mine from usa for my is200, creative performance 2004 on ebay £35 all in, including delivery. denso ik20 (5304). i think they were for the acura also. i also rang these guys up to confirm fitment and they do a lot of shipping to the uk. just gave them my credit card details over the phone no problems. car felt so much smoother after fitting these plugs.

fitted a set of verdestein ultracs on mine, these tyres have a mean looking tread pattern. i cant fault them they seem better than my bridgestones i had on it, good road holding :)

got a navman icn520 myself, does the job paid 180 from halfords in the summer.

just fitted my sidelights in today and they look amazing, sorry about not posting any pics as i cant seem to find my camera, soon as i find it i will do so. the lights are from ultraleds. i got the super white exenon 6 led bulbs. all i can say they are amazing very bright white light with a hint of blue you wont dissapointed with these bulbs, as the originals looked yellow they really work well with the hid kit :) i mounted my n/side ballast in the same position as kazi and the o/side just behind the front headlight so its sitting flat. eightysix/ jammy the kit is the prolex hid kit bulb type 9006, 6500k the light is a very bright white/ icy blue :) :) cheers
