Been a while since i've posted here and i've been meaning to ask this for a while now. but i've got this (pic below) and i've got no idea what its for or where i could get the additional attachment. I've got a feeling it might be related to some sort of phone attachment but i'm not sure. I've got a built in SatNav/TV (not that it works) in case its related to that?

I had a problem last night where the 7.5amp fuse had blown. This is the second time its blown first time appeared to be around the time i had a new lock set fitted in the car (See previous thread). its been about a month between the last time and last night :duh: I've noticed that i have been getting i assume static shocks from the car when getting out so i'm not sure how related these things are anyone got any tips for things to check?

why are they illegal? i had 6000k HID's fitted to my FTO and it passed an MOT, i was never pulled over and they were declared on insurance

cheers :) picked up the car today :) just needs to go back as none of the dash is lighting up when you go switch on the headlights!

too late :( i hadn't checked more frequently. got a complete lock set and should get the car back tomorrow. at least she starts now!!!

no :( I've spoken to Lexus this morning and they said it would require a new lock set and would cost 200quid :( and 250 for fitting :( i'm going to get it done at my local garage. Does anyone know where i could get a new lock set for cheaper than 200quid?

spose i better get it towed to a garage tomorrow :( really dont know how i've managed to remove the key whilst still in the ACC position :-S

I do, i've got 2 spares and my master key but i'll go try that. I just can't get the key all the way in which i think is part of the problem :S will let you know :) that didnt work. i've taken a couple of pics to show my problem. first two are crap but the 3rd one shows the key. http://www.fadeware.net/car-related/key/ I would have tagged these but they are too big and i can't be bothered to resize them :) updated post.

Some how i've managed to get my key out of the ignition while in ACC. can now when i put the key back in the barrel it won't turn :( i've got no idea what to try. as soon as i open the door i get the "bong" which usually implies the lights are on or the key is still in the barrel. i dunno what to try next, i've taken the negative off the battery in a hope to reset things but this seems a little mechanical to be solved by an electrical system. I can still lock the car with key fob. I've got a TOAD cat1 system.

Just thought i'd say hi :D I'm just about to buy a Toyota Altezza RS200 Z Edition (automatic) and i think this is the best place (could be wrong) to join even though its Lexus based. I've been looking at the Gold Membership (as you do) and not sure if based on the car i have go for the Toyota Gold Membership or the Lexus one :S Advice please :D
