  1. oh what applicator shall i use? just a normal cloth? or something else...
  2. I've been thinking of doing something similar in my altezza with a TomTom One. although have it so i can still remove the unit if i want too :) not sure how different an install it would be to that above?
  3. sounds good! I'll give the t-cut a go :D Any particular type of t-cut or just t-cut original? :)
  4. Hopefully this is not A) a stupid question and B) in the wrong section! :D I've just had my car repaired (insurance job) and I now have a new o/s headlight. Unfortunately the d/s light is horribly tinted yellow and just looks crap! any idea's on how to make it not look so crappy? :) muchly appreciated :D

well she's back! all fixed and clean! Only down side is that i have now got a brand new clear headlight (o/s) and the d/s one is tinged yellow and looks ****ty!!! :( :( Will take some piccies and post up! :D What the garage and I are confused about is the fog light was more expensive than the headlight! go figure! :|
  6. meh! dont tell me that now!

hell yea! I much as it was nice driving an 08 Saab 93 it just didnt have anything on the tezza! Any mention of depreciation value compensation? as if/when you decide to sell your car at a later stage you'll have to declare it was repaired and this may effect the price you can expect to get .... :( I doubt very much they'd furnish me with some sort of compensation and tbh i just dont want to have to go through the hassle of dragging it out. Now that its arrival is imminent i kinda fancy doing a bit of basic modding (exhaust, air filter) side of things. upon reading tho i gather the exhaust is different between a 6MT and 5AT...

ALtezza held up very well from the looks of it! MAke sure you only price up the best bits for your Altezza! Maybe Legana bumper instead of current one.. wink wink! hehe they've already sorted the parts. It would seem the Insurance company have agreed to fix0r my car :) Although its going to take a while for parts (i've been told 3weeks possibly) and then a week or so to fix it. They've said its going to cost around £3k to fix! Anyways i've got a hire car although i'm told today they are going to decide today if i need to keep it! obviously i do as my car is undriveable! Will keep you posted :)

so just travelling to work and some tard monkey decides to pull in front of me to go into a junction! not best pleased! Altezza weathered the impacct quite well! the renault clio didnt survive to well :D http://www.fadeware.net/car-related/meh/P1....33%5b02%5d.JPG not my fault and i'm busy going through insurance! http://www.fadeware.net/car-related/meh/P130508_08.37.JPG enjoy looking at the death of a crushed clio! :D my car is repairable just waiting on prices of parts which could make it uneconomical for repair! :( will let you know in due course :(
  13. its been in the garage today and apparently they think its likely to be some sort of nylon bush on the steering column or something simple like that. Although that doesnt quite explain the interference generated from the speakers... :S
  14. I had posted here and it was recommended that i try here: I have an Altezza RS200 Auto and i'm having some grinding noises coming from the steering when moving and stationary. I'm not sure if its something that goes away as the car warms up. When i get this grinding it is also generating noise in the speakers which is even more weird. I assume they are related... I've done a search and the only sort of noises that i find reference to are whining noises which indicate a power steering issue e.g. fluid lower or broke pump. The car is in the garage today so hopefully they will be able to find something... :S Any guidance would be helpful!!!
  15. I'll post in there cheers :D Don't think so, I've not been round the M5 in a while now :| I live in hippy infested Glastonbury :)
  16. I have an RS200 Auto. When steering at low speed i'm getting a grinding noise which feels like its coming through the foot rest. I'm not getting any grinding from the steering wheel... I've dropped it off at the garage this morning and noticed on the way over, when getting the grinding i'm getting interference through the speakers! which is even more weird... any thoughts what this might be?
  17. hmm watching this thread with interest! :D I doubt i'll do anything with my rs200 auto but its nice to know what to look out for and whats available :)

    Tax

perhaps coz your in scotland and they have different tax?
  19. thx IRLRs200! Do you have any problems with heat at the HID's with that ballast next to the intake? and what pads did you use? ones that came with the unit or did you buy some? How long have they been fitted? I assume you haven't had to check to see if they haven't escaped :)
  20. pics please if you can get them!! :D
  21. :P that would be sweet :D thx muchly! :D
  22. Does anyone have any pics of were they put the ballasts for their HID Ballasts? I'm thinking of getting some but not quite sure where they should be fixed to :duh:

    Buying Bulbs

i just decided to go with one bulb and get it from halfords rather than get a set of LED ones. I'll probably do that next time they go :D thanks for all the help Lexus2D and at least i'll be able to refer back to this thread for info! :D
